Triton Jr. help

Hello,

First off, this is my first post. I'm very pleased to find what seems to be a great forum filled with tons of helpful info and people.

I just went out and bought a Rustler VXL and a Lipo battery (losi 5000mah 7.4v). I also got the Triton Jr w/ a power supply to charge the battery.

How can I change the charge rate from 1C to .5C? I'm also trying to find out if there is a way to see how much charge a battery has by plugging it into the Triton Jr.

I'm completely new to this Lipo stuff so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The Triton Jr. is a nice charger.

You will want to charger your 5000mah pack at 5 amps. You change the charge rate by pressing the batt type so that the batt type on the screen is flashing then press (1 second or less ) the start button until the charge rate is flashing on the screen. With the charge rate flashing press the up or down arrow keys to adjust the charge level to what you want it at.

So if you want to charge your 5000mah pack at .5C or 2500mah set the charge rate to 2500mah or 2.5amps

You can only see the Voltage of a pack when you plug it into the Triton Jr. But you still have to start a charge in order to see the Voltage.
