It looks really good.
Does it run on 6s?
The batteries look very small. How does it run?
Does the transmission offer any gear reduction?
Do you have any expolded views of the the tranny?
Will a Castle motor fit in the buggy?
Sorry for all the questions

I like a lot of what I see but the battery deal sure looks a bit strange. Some more info on the pack size and lay out would be great.

PS: thread was moved seeing this is an electric kit not a conversion.

I am happy to answer any questions,
I only recieved the car today, have not tested it yet due to wet weather, at the moment im just checking over everything before giving it a run eg. Shock Oils, screws etc
It runs at 11.1v with 2 x 3s parallel, 3s 2200mah 25C E-Max packs. Has an option to run 4s, the lipo's are basically a 450 size heli batt, Max Amps have a 4s 2200mah that should fit ok.
Im not 100% sure on how much reduction as the manual does not tell you much, i'll post a pic of the centre gearbox exploded view soon.
The motor is bigger in diameter than a RTR brushless Caster motor, the RTR Himoto brushless motor is rated at 2700kv.
This is my first 8th scale so im not sure on the 1/8th castle setup, only raced 10th scale for last 20 years, anyway i'll take some more pics with measurements soon.

Wow 2200 mAh that doesn't give you much run time. I'm not quite understanding their use of small packs like that either. Seems really odd and pointless.

2 3s 2200 will yeild 4400 mah It will make 10 min easily. If the ROAR and RC Pro rules ever get adopted it will be fine for this buggy.
The gear reduction will also help out. You can run a emax forever compared to a 1/8th buggy on the same battery.

True but it is a bit out of the norm.

Looks like another specific built 1/8 electric to add to the list.
I wonder when we will see some major events allowing electric 1/8's to run as an auctual class?

Hi Jason. Sorry I haven't been in contact. I have been so busy with school and work. I have nothing but medical terms on the brain. LOL

I thought they had the ratio specifications around the wrong way as stated on front page of manual, thought the reduction would be higher on the BL but the BL uses a 35T spur where as the nitro has a 46T. I found it strange but correct me if im wrong but going on the stated ratio it seems to be geared lower?? only thing I could think of is that maybe they use this design on the centre gearbox to silence the spur gear noise?? Im sure there will be an answer soon.

We are in our wet season atm :ticked: Im hanging to get some track time with it when our new facility dries out.
Used it for 10 minutes on the road, now have slicks
Will definately get some track footage, but could be 3-4 weeks before I can.

Finally got track time, was very quick, left all other 1/8 buggys behind off the start line, need good throttle control as the sensorless system is quite brutal and due to a reasonably small track the sensorless system did get quite hot from all the slow stuff, though it did run a 7 minute race ok.
Overall it felt good, but looked ugly with the factory body, I'm in the process of sourcing an aftermarket one or fit another make to it, ran the one set of lipos, charged them using 2 trakpower charger/balancers at 3A, after each run both packs were charged in approx 35 min.
Only drama I had was the loss of a bottom steering knuckle kingpin screw but managed to finish the race.
I'll post footage of it in action when I find the camera man.
