Going to take the drifter out to the next few comps.

Looking for motor/tire/battery suggestions for long drifts on asphalt.

The SVT F-150 Lightning chassis is based on a precisely designed TL-01 chassis that incorporates shaft-driven full-time 4WD system equipped with quality differential gears in front/rear sealed gearboxes. This system is fitted on a lightweight yet durable monocoque frame. Responsive double wishbone suspension system with four friction dampers ensures a smooth ride even over rough surfaces

Mine is a light metallic blue that I will post some pictures up after this weekend

Looks like a good candidate for a castle mamba max and a 7700 KV motor on a 2S lipo. That'll make it slide.

I would suggest just going with the 4600 motor instead. Even this motor is almost too much rpm for drifting (tires spin way too much to put anything to the ground.) You want more torque. If you go novak the 10.5 and 8.5 are the most used with gearing between 7.25 and 8.

I think the 2S 6500 will fit in that battery compartment. Not too sure since it has the rounded edges for shotgun packs.

As for tires you can go cheap and long lasting with ABS tires:
