custom MIcrO baja 5B

this is my custom MICRO baja 5B from birth to finish.

alittle bit about it. its running the 8750kv motor, and a 500mah 7.4v lipo. with team losi receiver and servo. i get about 50mins- 70mins run time. it does get very hot after 30 mins so i usually take a break every 20 mins. it has a low gearing but still goes fairly fast, and it pops wheelies.

I'll give you credit for the custom tin chassis, but I don't see how it resembles a 5B at all? Maybe if you made a roll cage area on top and a wing on the back? Then it would at least resemble a 5B a bit more. Take some steel brake line and cut and bend yourself up a roll cage and get a wing off of a RC18B. How's the tin chassis hold up to jumps and bumps? I would think it bends quite easily.

why thank you. yes i was thinking i should build a wing for it and and roll cage. all in due time my friend. its a alluminum chassis not tin. and because of the double deck desgin it dosent bend at all. no problems whith it so far.:stoked:

How much ground clearance do you have? It looks like it's almost sitting on the chassis. It doesn't appear to have much suspension travel.

it has the exact same suspension travel as the stock mirco. it is about 34g heavier then the stock mirco but still works great. but i was thinking of mabye constructing some custom rear shocks for it, becuase it does bottom out more often.

just and update, i have finished the wing and roll cage on this thing, and now it looks great.

Looks pretty cool, if ya could get a Cage on that thing it would look almost close to the 5B..
I have 2 Hpi Baja's one 5B and 5T would be killer to see a Mini Version for sure..
