if you build it yourself you learn a lot about how the entire vehicle works. even if i get a roller i still take it all apart and rebuild it.

It's a very easy to build kit and if you taken a few rigs apart and put them back together you shouldn't have any issues at all.

What to use in a f8t. A 2200 kv motor on 4s or a say 1700 kv motor on 6s or maybe something different any and all help please.

What are you going to be doing? Racing or just playing around. The 2200 Monster System is great on 4S and a beast on 6S. A 1700 KV motor will basically do the same thing. Good on 4S and nuts on 6S. Just remember you can't race 6S.

I would just be playing around but wont to keep things cool but would like to keep around 40 mph but also wont plenty on torque.I am under the impression that higher volts is the way to go thats why i said something about the 1700 kv on 6s but you say its wicked so maybe something lower 1550 or 1350 kv on 6s.

The rtr is based off a 1850 motor that is longer (74mm) and a 80 amp hobbywing esc.

I have a sport (same as rtr, but like a pro) and am running a 2750 motor at 14.8 volts. It gets hot, but it is a rocket.

There are several options and I think that Tekin and Castle are almost bulletproof at this point. We had problems with the initial fusion buggy with the 2045 motor getting too hot. The new ones come with a heatsink that helps or a 36x60 1880kv motor.

Josh try an F8T Pro a lot cheaper to get into but you'll be amazed with the quality and how well this thing runs and handles.

Losi stuff sells on ebay. Dealer cost? Why are you not a Caster dealer then? You should at least look into it.

nothing against my bosses or nothing, but sometimes i wonder why did they order that. we sell more 1/10th scale stuff than 8th scale round here. most everyone who races 8th scale get stuff from the internet
