New emaxx owners with Hv maxx set up

How much of you guys who bought the 3905 emaxx to put a Novak hv maxx brushless set , only to find out that the pinion gear doesn't reach.? I have the perfect solution. I bought a 15 Tooth 32 Pitch Long Pinion Gear from RC4WD. $4.99 plus shipping. It has 2 screw that hold the pinion to the shaft. Now the pinion gear lines up with no problem.

What gear ratio and setup are you running...I would have thought that 15 would be a bit big.
I run 12/66 on my old maxx with 6.5 hv and 6000 max amps lipo's. any lower ratio and I get some heat.
Yes awsome job tracking the right pinions this will be great. Expecialy since I am just trying to put new emaxx tranny in revo convertion.

They will have to pick up production on them pinions... they are out of stock right now.

When i ordered mines the website said that they were out of stock, but im got mines anyway.
