I can now come to say how I appreciate how much time and money goes into someone's shelf queen. I started this project sometime last year beginning with a BL system and a FLM Chassis and then decided to go full FLM on what I could. The only pieces that aren't FLM are the arms because I had to hack them up a little to get the LST shocks to fit, the body mounts and bumper mounts are still plastic just in case if I were to drive it, something would have a little give.

But that didn't matter, it came out beautifully. It also doesn't bottom out at all anymore. As far as I know this is the 1st Maxx fitted with LST shocks. I just ordered some CEN Genesis wheels, tires and 23mm hexes. As soon as the MMM/Neu comes out that will be the last upgrade.

Yeah, I ran it in the street as soon as I put on the new rubber and then it went straight to the shelf.

Bondonutz, I put 50wt. oil in the shocks but someone gave me a good idea for some extra spring.

Here's a pic:

Yeah, that should stiffen things up. If that won't do it maybe you can put an air ride system on there. Need a tiny compressor and a second radio dedicated to the suspension. Be cool though...lay frame and cruise the lots, then boost it to the sky hit the trails. Just kiddin...nice truck. Then again, if you can make the system work you might have something...have to add a system and some 10th scale 12" subs to round out that package:eek:

Bluonyx,
Have you checked out RcRaven's dual rate springs ? There an inch longer than Losi springs so you might not need the preloads and or the traxxas spring, even though it does look pretty cool in there.

Man that looks awesome! What motor you got in there? Is it enough to push that beast?

I'm running a 9XL with a MM/UBEC with fan. It seems to be ok for now but I wanna try a Neu setup. I've never tried one let alone anything above 4S. I wanna due a high voltage system but can't spend the extra $600 right now (new ESC, mootor, 5S or 6S lipos).

WOW, that's awesome. I haven't picked up anything RC in the past two months. Gotta new car so I've been tinkering with that and summer time weather is sucky. It's too hot to play with the trucks. Last time I logged on here was 4/6/08. That's long. I was actually thinking of selling it because I just bought a E-Revo two days ago and I listed one of my LST's on Ebay yesterday to help with funds.

I have to go out later and buy a copy of RCDriver. Here's the E-revo I just got with a MM/Neu combo...

I had woundered where you ben, hadn't seen you chime in a while ? The Revo is awesome and I want one myself pretty bad but finances are a problem, work has ben bad the last few months. Which NEU mill and what Lipos are you running ?
The heat hasn't stopped me, beating the poop out of my trucks is threaputic for my stress as long as I can still afford the parts I'm braking on a very regular basis.

I told a buddy of mine who's interested in a LST conversion about your listing, we couldn't find it ??

Glad to be back. I didn't know my setting had the email notifications turned off here for new posts and PM's. And I hadn't checked in so long, I feel bad. I had a lot of PM's that were unanswered.

I gotta SS HHR opn mother's day and wanted a killer stereo system so the wife said I could get it if I sold some cars. I think that was her way at getting back at me for getting the car on her day. So I said OK. Sold a few and hadn't touched them till last week when I walked by the mag. section in a store and saw the E-Revo on the cover. Then the bug bit me again.

My LST2 sold last night on Ebay so that takes care of the E-Revo. I pulled the MM/Neu from the LST2 and put it in the E-Revo. The Neu is a 1515/1Y/F 2200kv running with 2 TrueRC 2S 6400 lipos.

I had to make the wiring opening bigger on the battery box because the 12awg wiring was to thick. I've tested it in the street and it runs great but the stock tires are unbalanced. They start wobbling like crazy. I have some Aftershock tires I'll use instead, they're taller which is better since I jump mostly.

Glad your happy w/the E-revo and I'm sure you are with your HHR also, When ever I get one I think I'm going to install a HV and run 2-3s 6K's that I got from TrueRc. I'm using those packs in my FLM Stampy and other 1/10 scale stuff and they are awesome packs ! A buddy of mine who bought 2 2s 8K's is also very happy. I'm going to try to get motovated enough to start club racing with my E-Revo and 3s power will be plenty for the small tracks we have down here.
