Take a look at the X-Trail By TCS (The Crawler Store) see it here. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/TCS-X-Tra...n-p-16556.html

I've got one and will be building a "scaler" for the wife. This will also be one of the future Axial Mod Builds here at Nitro Killers.com. Just another chapter in what you can do with the AX-10.

Thanks Jason, it does seem to be the best on offer at the moment for the $$$, and i do have a second ax10 i could use as the donor, think i will wait for you guys to do one first and see if it can take the large capacity battery i want to use, cheers again, mcn1.:D

Just out of curiosity why do you want to use such a largo capacity battery? I did some testing on satturday wi th some of the batteries I have. With a 3cell 700mah I was getting 35 minutes before I noticed a fall off in power. I put back 500mah into the battery. I also tried a 1550 3cell and was up to 80 minutes and decided to put on the charger and see where I was at. I put back 1250mah. The 1550 did way better on power. The motor combo I was using drew a little to much for the 700 to handle well. But still did VERY good.

With a 8000Mah battery, you would be able to crawl for a week.
